Developer RG Crew and publisher Ultimate Games S.A. are bringing together a new unconventional project that puts you in the shoes of a hotel manager who also works as an assassin. Entitled merely as PsyHotel Simulator, you’ll study and find ways to liquidate your guests while you continue to run and maintain the hotel.
Marketed and described as “gameplay combining elements from several genres,” players will have various choices in regards to approaching their targets and tasks. Absurd comedy, horror, tactical/stealth, and action, infused with unorthodox narrative elements and graphics to create a unique first-person experience.
You are the law here. All of your clients are criminals, so it’s up to you to plan your course of attack as you try not to blow your cover. You can be creative and build items to your advantage for traps, provoke fights among guests to make things interesting, and build your empire as chaos erupts.
The range of weapons seem to be nearly endless, as you can construct a bomb within an alarm to kill off a sleeping thief quickly; combine a fan with power saws to go down a more bloody path, or get crazy by hammering in nails into a baguette to swing at your opponents.
“The Boss is one part Hitman, one part Dexter Morgan. He’s certainly an unconventional and unusual character. The hotel we will manage is something completely unique.” – Piotr Rycąbel, Main Programmer at RG Crew
The game will offer a career mode as well as the possibility to enjoy single missions without the hotel aspect. A lot of freedom will be given to the player, so it’s entirely up to them on how they want to proceed with their objectives.
PsyHotel Simulator will be developed by RG Crew, who is also planning on releasing the Anthology of Fear very soon. It will be published by Polish company Ultimate Games S.A., who is known for publishing the well-received Ultimate Fishing Simulator.
PsyHotel Simulator is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2021 for PC via Steam. It’s also expected to appear on the Nintendo Switch, as well as possibly the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X.
