Pre-registration for Puzzle Quest 3 opens today ahead of the release. The newest installment of the puzzle-RPG series is coming to PC, iOS, and Android next month.
Developed by Infinity Plus Two and published by 505 Games, Puzzle Quest 3 is set 500 years after the first game. Players choose from one of five classes and battle enemies in puzzle-based combat.
The game will officially be available for download on PC, iOS, and Android on March 1, but it has been in the works for quite some time. It was announced last year and received a soft launch in March of 2021. Next month’s official launch is certain to see more players join in on the adventure.
According to a press release published earlier today, Puzzle Quest 3 brings back some beloved aspects of the original game, including the setting. Players will return to the realm of Etheria and engage in one-on-one battles, just like in the first Puzzle Quest game. However, Puzzle Quest 3 is upgraded with 3D graphics and new puzzles. Infinity Plus Two are excited about the game’s release, as noted in this quote from today’s press release:
““Over a decade ago, we introduced Puzzle Quest to gamers, innovating a new puzzle-RPG hybrid genre, and created a franchise that is still going strong today with millions of players globally,” said Steve Fawkner, CEO and Creative Lead at Infinity Plus Two. “I am thrilled for the opportunity to finally continue the series and globally debut Puzzle Quest 3 this coming March. We have a big roadmap ahead with some big surprises that I’m sure will excite fans, both old and new.””
Ahead of the worldwide launch, players can participate in a pre-registration campaign. According to today’s press release, players can unlock rewards in Puzzle Quest 3 by pre-registering and completing tasks, such as adding the game to their Steam wishlists and following the developers on social media. Players can find more information on the pre-registration campaign on the game’s official website. Puzzle Quest 3 will be available for download on PC, iOS, and Android on March 1, 2022.
