The recent addition to the Rainbow Six franchise has players eager to explore this new spin on the game. However, not everyone is willing or able to make the purchase just yet. Thankfully, there’s a trial version of Rainbow Six Extraction, so you can get your fill with some free play before deciding if the game’s worth it.
How to Get the Trial Version of Rainbow Six Extraction
If you want to give Rainbow Six Extraction a try for free, you can download the trial version. There are some stipulations, though.
Let’s start with getting this trial. It’s simple enough as all you need to do is head to the digital storefront of your platform of choice, go to the game, and download the trial.
Once this is ready, you can get to playing. But you need to remember that this trial only lasts for two hours. You will have access to the entire game, and there will be a timer counting down the two hours.
A pretty cool thing about this trial is that your progress is saved. This way, if you do want to purchase the full version, then everything you did in that two hours won’t just up and vanish. You can also play as all the operators released at launch.
Although the trial version gives you some free playtime, there are some things in Rainbow Six Extraction you can’t do. For one thing, you can’t access any post-launch content. So, anything new added will be unavailable to anyone playing the trial.
Secondly, the Maelstrom Protocol Mode is also unavailable in the trial version.
