Update 1.000.049 for Rainbow Six Siege has arrived, and here are all the changes and improvements mentioned in the patch notes. Ubisoft just announced that more hotfix maintenance was inbound via the Rainbow Six Twitter. The hotfix will be deployed today, March 14th. The update 1.000.049 will be available on all platforms simultaneously. The downtime for the update will start at 09:00 ET / 13:00 UTC. The servers are expected to remain down for around 90 minutes, after which you can log back in and see the changes in the new update.
As for the contents of update 1.000.049, players will notice that Finka Elite will now appear as available in the game. Those who have already purchased the Finka Elite set will receive it later once it comes out. The Y8S1 set will get 2 items that were previously missing from it. Finka Elite Appearing as Available
- The Finka Eilte could be found if Echo’s Mad Dog of Shimano Elite was not owed and this has now been removed.
- Those who have purchased the Finka Elite Set will receive it later, once it is released.
Crashes in the Shooting Range & TDM
- Fixed a crash that would occur when a specific non-universal skin was equipped.
Y8S1 Esports All Set
- The bundle included 2 additional items in error. Players who purchased the bundle prior to this fix will soon be granted those 2 additional items automatically.
