Randall Emmett And Lala Kent’s Daughter To Be Absent From Vanderpump Rules?
Lala Kent, 32, recently took to her Instagram story to reveal that her daughter, Ocean, will not be on the upcoming 10th season of the show. Lala shares little Ocean with former fiance Randall Emmett. She explained that she is determined to “protect Ocean by all means necessary.”
The actress’ post raised a lot of questions from fans who were curious as to whether Randall withdrew Ocean’s role. On September 21, Randall’s rep confirmed that he had indeed taken action to prevent Ocean from being featured on the TV series.
“Randall felt being a storyline on a reality show was not in the best interest of his child and continues to put her wellbeing and privacy first and foremost,” the rep told Reality Blurb in a statement.
While announcing her daughter’s absence from the show, Lala included an adorable snapshot of the little one. She penned:
“Y’all won’t be seeing Ocean this season and you won’t be seeing me as a mom. I’m okay with that. This part of my life I want to hold close to my heart, free of outsiders, and protect Ocean, by all means, necessary.”
Vanderpump Rules is slated to premiere in late 2022 or early 2023.
Inside Randall And Lala Kent’s Relationship
Randall and Lala split in October 2021 amid rumors of infidelity. The former couple has been raising their daughter separately, communicating with each other via a parenting app.
Earlier in March, Randall appeared on an episode of Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi‘s podcast, Genuinely GG, where he discussed their co-parenting relationship.
“We talk about Ocean and that’s it and honestly, as long as we’re talking about our daughter, that’s the most important thing,” Randall said. “I’m hopeful in the future that we get to a place of being a little more fluid but we’re co-parenting and that’s it. If she’s not ready to do more than what we’re doing, that’s okay.”
