Bad Vice Games and Troglobyte Games have teamed up for a brand-new psycho-horror simulation game based around cooking called Ravenous Devils, which now has a full release date. This murderous cooking game will be released on Steam, EGS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, and Xbox One & Xbox Series X|S on April 29th, so stick that in your diary.
Ravenous Devils takes inspiration from the dingy backstreets of 19th century London (a creepy period indeed), and players must take control of Percival and Hildred, a loved-up couple with one thing in common: they enjoy killing people and making tasty treats out of them. One is a tailor, the other a chef, and the two work hand in hand to succeed at their violent ambitions – think Sweeny Todd but even more violent (if possible). Take a look at the trailer below for a glimpse into their lives.
What Are Some of the Key Features of Ravenous Devils?
Some of the main features of Ravenous Devils are as follows:
- Sharpen your fast-paced point and click skills
- Experience truly gory gameplay
- Upgrade your equipment, cook up new recipes and develop your shops
- Meet authentic (and often grotesque) characters inspired by 19th-century London personalities in a game rich in story and narration
The developers of this psycho-horror simulation game expressed their thoughts recently. Christian Gambadori, Game Director at Bad Vice Games, stated, “We always try to push the boundaries of the gaming sphere with the titles we develop here at Bad Vice Game, and we honestly couldn’t be prouder of our latest horrifying endeavor with Ravenous Devils.” He went on to add, “Our previous releases have already raised more than just people’s eyebrows, but this is definitely our greatest project yet.” The game has a nice mix of point-and-click simulation, an invigorating story with great gameplay, and everything is then enhanced by that old and gothic 19th-century London aesthetic that has become so well known in folklore.
Check out Ravenous Devils when it comes out at the end of the month, and beware because this game is not for the faint-hearted.
