Rayman Legends released on September 3, 2013, as the fifth installment in the mainline games of the Rayman series. It was released as a direct sequel to Ubisoft’s Rayman Origins, which was released in 2011.
Rayman Legends is a 2D platformer featuring Ubisoft’s poster child, Rayman, along with a cast of faces new and old. This wacky musical masterpiece boasts over 100 levels and hours of unbelievable content.
The game features a single-player story as well as four-player co-op. There are also 3D Boss Battles, Musically themed levels, and online challenge modes.
Created by Michel Ancel (creator of Beyond Good and Evil and Raving Rabbids), Rayman Legends has been hailed as one of the greatest 2D platformers ever made. It continues to provide fans of the series with the nostalgic gameplay that mimics that of the original titles while providing players with a smoother and faster-paced experience.
Rayman Legends outsold its predecessor within its first week on shelves and continues to sell copies steadily for the next year. The game has been re-released as new platforms become available and has continued to sell on all platforms. Most recently, it was re-released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017 as Rayman Legends Definitive Edition.
Rayman Legends has been given to players for free in the past as a part of promotions such as Playstation Plus and Xbox Live. However, this time, its price has dropped 100% as a limited time sale on the Epic Games Store.
If you’ve been waiting to play Rayman Legends, the price won’t get better than this. But you have to act quickly since it is only free until December 6. You can grab your digital copy free of charge by using the link here.
