Roger Clark and Troy Baker, the voice actors for Red Dead Redemption 2’s Arthur Morgan and The Last of Us’s Joel, respectively, have recently teased an unannounced game project they are currently working together on. Earlier today, the voice actors shared a photo together on Roger Clark’s Instagram that showed him wearing mo-cap gear next to Troy Baker, who also had the tell-tale ping-pong ball suit and dots on his face.
“Was going to say something funny but honestly, it was a joy to work with Troy Baker and witness first hand why he is one of the best in the business. His talent, application, experience, and intelligence helped make this project a very rewarding experience. Can’t wait to show you all what this amazing team did! Watch this space,” the post under the picture reads.
The post does not provide any other hints to the details or nature of the project that the two are working together on is. Roger Clark has denied such rumors in the past regarding game projects he’s worked on since Red Dead Redemption 2 launched.
The only other piece of information towards the project comes from a similar Instagram post shared by Troy Baker around the same time, which reads as follows:
Two words of simultaneous joy and melancholy: “Picture Wrap”. All those who gave their time and talent will be credited in due season. But for now, allow me again to express my gratitude for the incredible skill, diligence, and hard work that went into this shoot. Special shoutout to our stunt team for elevating and empowering this cast and for helping me to move past my doubt and do things I didn’t think I was capable of doing. Scenes were shot. Stories were told. Memories were made. Friendships were forged.”
Further details on the project are expected to be revealed in time.
