Remnant: From the Ashes is, sadly, coming to an end starting next month with the upcoming Subject 2923 DLC. It looks to be a really solid DLC with an interesting new area and many new enemies. I’m excited about it, but I’m also sad at the same time. I’ll miss gunning my way through Remnant’s unique worlds and acquiring new gear. What I am happy about though, is the new details regarding the upcoming DLC. Gunfire Games reveals today that the upcoming DLC will not only include the new world of Reisum, but also the mysterious Ward Prime. The team even released a video detailing more about Ward Prime which you can find below.
Remnant: From the Ashes’ Ward Prime
Ward Prime is a strange military base, filled with secrets and horrors to discover. Here, players will discover the true origins of the “Dreamers” and the connections they have to the evil Root. The military base itself has an interesting history too. Back in the 1960s, the military discovered an alien rock with ancient engravings along with a wall of text that was unreadable. Deciphering it unlocked the power of the World Stone, the stone you use to travel from place to place. Traveling through this place will prove to be challenging, but also provide a lot of insight.
Also revealed today were the pricing and the full details of Remnant: From the Ashes – Complete Edition. Subject 2923 will be $9.99, similar to Swamps of Corsus’ pricing. This makes sense, considering the amount of content they provide will likely be similar. Along with that, the Complete Edition is priced at $49.99 and will include the game and both DLCs. This pricing lets you get one of the DLCs free with the game, which is honestly a good deal. The first DLC is great, so the second should be just as good.
If you plan to hop into Remnant: From the Ashes – Subject 2923 like me, hopefully, you enjoy it. I’ll try to give my review when it comes out, and whether it holds up to the price tag.
