Resident Evil developer’s expected event, Capcom Showcase 2022, started with spectacular announcements. As expected, great footage has arrived that will be discussed extensively by the game fans. Resident Evil 4 remake presented a new trailer that reveals more about the title and a small gameplay sample.
Capcom released an intense trailer and first gameplay video of the new Resident Evil remake. The gameplay video, which you can watch right below, reveals never-before-seen footage of the game with renewed footage and more details from the third-person camera and Leon Kennedy’s physical appearance.
First Gameplay of Resident Evil 4 Remake
During the last State of Play, Capcom showed the first trailer for Resident Evil 4 Remake, the game that now returns in its expanded form, during the Capcom Showcase. The game developer decided to use their event to offer players a deeper look at Resident Evil 4 Remake – this includes gameplay and other details.
The title presented is a complete refresh of the well-known adventure. This means that Resident Evil 4 will get advanced graphics, and the developers will be interested in expanding the story and improving the gameplay. Also, the iconic enemies, the Ganados, have been completely redesigned, although we will be fighting them with the camera behind Leon’s shoulder in the remake.
Resident Evil 4 is the third complete remake the series has seen since 2019, with Resident Evil 2 and 3 getting the treatment already. Resident Evil 4 has recently returned with a genuinely unique VR-exclusive version that fans have also enjoyed.
Resident Evil 4 releases on March 24th, 2023, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam).
In addition to this news, Resident Evil 7, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3 have been revamped for next-gen consoles at Capcom Showcase 2022. Starting today, they will appear in front of players with improved graphics and gameplay.
