Whenever a remake happens, people get excited and worried. Excited for seeing their original favorite games with better graphics and improved features. Worried because some remakes tend to remove things to focus on other parts of the game. Oddly enough, we can use the latest Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes as a comparison. While the remake of the second one was loved by many, the third one cut some parts of the original game. With that, people are worried about the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake, especially when it comes to its length, features, and the areas of the game. Well, don’t worry because all three main areas of the original titles are coming.
Resident Evil 4 Remake will include the Village, Castle, and Island areas according to recent reports
The original game was a game-changer in many aspects for the game industry. It revamped the genre, added a new camera, and became one of the best titles of the decade. Still, there was always one area of the game that players didn’t like too much. The Island. This place sort of broke with the survival horror aspect a bit, making it more action-oriented. This didn’t sit well with some fans, while others loved it. Thankfully, or not, depending on your standing, all areas are coming to the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
(1/2) For anyone who's been afraid the Island in Resident Evil 4 Remake would be cut, in the latest Edge Magazine issue, in an interview with the devs, they mention the team split into three parts to work on the Village, Castle & Island separately at first, then after each team

According to a recent interview, the developers divided themselves into three teams to work on each area. This means that they worked on the Village, Castle, and Island zones. This is great due to many players being afraid of cut content, but now it seems everything is coming. While we are all happy about the areas coming to the Resident Evil 4 Remake, we just hope that the story is the same as the first title. It is truly one of the best Resident Evil games out there and one of the most anticipated survival horror games of the year. You can pre-order the game right now and wait for its launch in March 2023.
