To find the W-870 Shotgun in Resident Evil 4 you’ll need to advance the story just a little bit. It’ll take you around 30 to 40 minutes to get it depending on how many things you explore inside and outside the village. You can miss this weapon, especially during the event that triggers in the game, however, once it’s over you can go back for it. Still, it is better to get it while the villagers attack you. Here’s the location:
- Head to the village and trigger the cutscene with the police officer
- Trigger the fight and run to the two-floor building
- Head upstairs and you’ll spot the shotgun on the wall

As soon as you grab it, the weapon is yours. We recommend that you use it during the fight, especially against the chainsaw enemy. Doing so will keep enemies at bay and will let you escape more easily. While it isn’t the best shotgun in the game, it’ll carry you until you get better equipment.
