Resident Evil Village may not have many weapons to choose from, but each one feels uniquely powerful in its own way. The starting pistol can feel quite powerful early on, but later on, you’ll find bigger and better weaponry that will soon prove to be very effective. One weapon you can find, which you may have noticed from the ammo you discover on the ground, is the grenade launcher. This beast can pack a real punch but can be rather difficult to find if you don’t know where to look. No need to worry though. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how you can get the grenade launcher in Resident Evil Village!

How to Get the Grenade Launcher in Resident Evil Village

First of all, you’re going to want to make sure you have the Iron Insignia Key from back in Castle Dimitrescu. If you’re unsure of how to get this, you can check out our guide on how to get it in the fastest way possible. Once acquired and you find yourself back in the village, take a look around until you find a building with a rather interesting symbol on its metal door. If you’re having troubles, use the above image to find it in the easiest way possible (it’s also marked by a treasure symbol on your map, if you’ve made it that far in the story). Once opened, you’ll find the grenade launcher waiting for you inside, alongside some starting ammo.

This weapon may not seem so useful right now, but some later parts such as the Stronghold will prove just how useful this weapon can really be. It, alongside the magnum (which you can find our guide on below), can be incredibly effective against specific enemies.
