Resident Evil Village is available on a wide variety of platforms and, as such, fans have been eagerly working through all the latest installment has to offer. There’s plenty to discover both in story and gameplay, including a wide array of puzzles. You might think they almost go overboard with puzzles, but it works magnificently in the series. One such puzzle comes during your visit to House Beneviento, where an interesting musical puzzle takes shape. In the event you find yourself stuck on this though, no need to worry! In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to complete the music box puzzle in Resident Evil Village!
How to Complete the Music Box Puzzle in Resident Evil Village
First of all, you must get to the music box itself. To do this, you’ll have to head down the elevator within the house to the basement, where you’ll later find the music box sitting on a desk. You’ll need to make sure you have the winding key, which can be earned during an earlier part of the section. This begins the puzzle, which includes several rotating cylinders that are currently misaligned. As such, you must move each of these cylinders so they perfectly play the song and unlock your reward. We suggest you take some time to try and solve this yourself but in case you’re still stuck, read on below for the solution!
The key you’re looking for here is the scratch marks on the cylinders. You’ll want these to line up perfectly so that each one connects nicely. You can see the image above to line them up correctly. Once done, press space and you can watch the beautiful song play. This will unlock the secret compartment and score you the pair of tweezers, allowing you to get some film and unlock the film puzzle. You can expect a guide on this puzzle very soon.
