With Resident Evil Village finally available, players are jumping straight into Castle Dimitrescu and experiencing all sorts of beauty and horror throughout its landscape. As this is a Resident Evil game as well, there’s a whole host of puzzles for you to complete which have all sorts of depth. After a rather intense escape from Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters, you’ll find yourself in an opera house with an interesting piano. This can be a little difficult to decipher though so, in this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to complete the piano puzzle in Resident Evil Village!
How to Complete the Piano Puzzle in Resident Evil Village
Once you’ve made it to the Opera House, make your way downstairs after dispatching the two undead-wielding medieval weaponry. Once there, you’ll find the piano which, when interacted with, will begin the puzzle. The game will display a piece of sheet music, which you must match the ovals up to the ovals on the different musical notes. The further right you go on the piano keys, the higher your oval goes. Inversely, the further left you go, the lower the oval goes.
With this in mind, the puzzle becomes as simple as trying various piano keys until they line up with the ovals on the music notes. This is actually one of the easier puzzles in Resident Evil Village, so working through this shouldn’t be too much of a pain. Once done, a song will play and the piano will reveal the Iron Insignia Key, allowing you to progress further through the game. You can also find a ball upstairs, which may be useful in a certain trader’s room within the castle.
