As is a staple thus far, there are plenty of puzzles to handle, one of which requiring you to position some statues correctly to access Lady Dimitrescu’s chambers. If you’re finding yourself having trouble completing this, we’re here to help! In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to complete the statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village!
How to Complete the Statue Puzzle in Resident Evil Village
First of all, you’ll enter the room surrounded by the aforementioned four statues which you must move to begin the puzzle. These can be rotated left or right to face each other. At first glance, this may seem rather confusing. Thankfully though, the back wall has a quote that can give you a key hint towards the solution. In case you need a refresher, here is the quote:
Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow”
I’d suggest trying to solve the statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village off this clue but in case you’re still stumped, here’s the solution. The lady with the glass must look away from the male beggars (Women are blind to male advances), the beggars must look towards the man on the horse (the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown), the horseman must look towards the lady with the wine bottle, and that lady must look towards the lady with the wine glass (so that soon the wine may flow). Once those are correctly placed, the pool should drain itself and the door should open, allowing you to proceed.
