Saving the Game in Resident Evil Village
Just like every Resident Evil game, to save, you simply have to find a typewriter. Interacting with a typewriter will prompt up the save option, which you can utilize to save the game. However, unlike the previous versions of the game, you don’t need an Ink Ribbon or any specific gear for saving. You have unlimited access to the save option as long as there is a typewriter to use.
Typewriters can usually be found in areas prior to a major boss fight or other key checkpoints in the game. One of the more frequently used typewriters is in the main castle, where you can also find Duke. There is an autosave option in the game as well, but that is much more limited. Resident Evil Village will generally autosave your progress before any major boss fight or after you achieve any important milestone. However, it’s better to utilize a typewriter for saving the game rather than just sticking with autosave as it only pops up in special cases.
Hopefully, this guide helped you with saving the game in Resident Evil Village using the typewriter. If it did, be sure to let us know in the comments below. As well, share it around so it can help others.
