Today’s the day! Finally, Resident Evil Village is gracing our screens, after many months of anticipating the beauty of everyone’s favorite tall vampire lady. By now though, you’ve begun your adventures towards Castle Dimitrescu and taken in all the sights, with plenty more in store as you progress. If you’re unsure as of how to proceed though, the missing eye puzzle rather early on in the game may stump you. No need to worry though as, in this guide, we’ll explain just how to complete the missing eye puzzle in Resident Evil Village!
How to Complete the Missing Eye Puzzle in Resident Evil Village
This quest requires that you’re first inside Castle Dimitrescu, and have already had your first interaction with the massive vampire lady and her daughters. Following this, you’ll come up the door that’s missing an eye. Your first instinct may be to look around (which you may have already done before checking this guide), but that’d actually be the wrong call. Instead, head into your inventory and scroll over to your newly gotten ring. This is what you’ll need to open that door.
First of all, examine the ring to where you’re able to rotate it. Then, turn the eye until it’s looking directly at you (when the button prompt appears). Examine the ring, and Ethan will be able to pull the maroon eye out with enough force. Place your newfound eye in the socket, and you’ll be able to proceed into the rather spooky dungeons of Castle Dimitrescu.
