The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has revealed she aborted a pregnancy as a teenager. On Friday, June 24th, the Supreme Court ruled that there is no constitutional right to abortion in the United States. The ruling upended the landmark Roe vs. Wade Case from almost 50 years ago. The outcome of the verdict looks likely to fracture American reproductive rights and has unsurprisingly been condemned by many celebrities.
RHOBH Star Brandi Glanville Adds Her Voice
Reality television star Brandi joined many of her colleagues in condemning the Supreme Court’s ruling. However, she did so by sharing her abortion story on Twitter. On July 29th, Brandi tweeted:
I don’t have any shame about my abortion &thank God I had a choice.I was 17 a senior in high school I was in an emotionally abusive relationship and I was on birth control pills and I still became pregnant. I had a choice & I was still a child myself

Brandi Is Not Alone
RHOBH star Brandi Glanville is not the only celebrity who has shared their abortion stories in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s ruling. On June 28th, she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen alongside her The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Ex-Wives Club co-star Jill Zarin.
During the show, Jill, 58, also told her abortion story, revealing she had an abortion in her late teens. Jill disclosed that having an abortion was her choice. She added that she did not know how her life would have been different if she had kept the baby. She also expressed her disappointment in the Supreme Court’s ruling.
When Andy Cohen asked Brandi if she also had an abortion previously, she replied,
“I did at 17.”
Brandi And Jill’s Bravery Is Commendable
One must note that despite aborting babies as teenagers, Brandi and Jill went on to have kids. RHOBH star Brandi has two sons, Mason, 19, and Jake, 15, who she shares with her ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian. Meanwhile, her RHUGT co-star Jill shares daughter Ally Shapiro, 29, who she shares with her ex-husband, Steven Shapiro.
Both women showed bravery in coming forward with their abortion stories, which will surely inspire those disappointed with the Supreme Court’s ruling.
