Separation looks certain for The Real Housewives of Orange County star Dr. Jen Armstrong and her husband Ryne Holliday, judging from recent developments. One can recall that The Real Housewives franchise star Jen filed for legal separation from Ryne on May 13. However, she now seeks to amend that filing to a dissolution of their marriage.
According to court documents that Page Six obtained, the 44-year-old reality television star amended her May 13 legal separation filing to a divorce. She also requested to terminate the court’s ability to award her and Ryne spousal support.
In addition to these, Jen asked for legal and physical custody of their three children, twins Vera and Vince, 10, and Robert, 9. In addition, her divorce filing restricts her husband to visitations. Jen also updated her and Ryne’s separation date to April 6, 2022. The couple’s former date of separation was September 8, 2021.
Ryne And Jen’s Long-Drawn Separation
Although Jen is seeking a divorce from Ryne, a source told E! News that the estranged couple is focused on their family and is getting along well.
Previously, a source revealed that Jen filed for legal separation from Ryne for their family’s sake. The insider explained that there was no specific catalyst for the filing before adding,
“After their first trial separation in September [2021], Jen and Ryne were still in limbo, and Jen felt like she needed to take this step to improve their family dynamic.”
The source further explained that the couple was having the same issues that played out on RHOC. However, things became amicable between them, and they were committed to ensuring their children’s happiness and stability.

Things looked good between Ryne and Jen a week before she filed paperwork for their legal separation with the court. The now-estranged RHOC couple took their adorable kids on a trip to Disneyland. Jen shared pictures from the fun day on her Instagram page, narrating the events.
