Rita Ora Moves from Music to Movies to Disney+
Rita Ora gained fame from her music career. She has also graced British television in different musical reality series. Ora played herself in the series Empire and 90210. Rita Ora played the sweet Mia in the Fifty Shades of Grey movies. Disney+ will be the site of the starring role in the Beauty and the Beast prequel series. As of now, it’s unsure how her role will overlap with the Beast, Belle, Gaston, or LeFou. For now, Ora is just finding her feet outside of music. At least fans of the tale as old as time know Ora’s singing abilities. The legendary Alan Menken, who wrote the scores for the 1991 and 2017 versions will be back for the prequel series. The live-action Beauty and the Beast didn’t exactly blow up box office records.
Fans will just have to wait to see whether Ora’s pipes, acting or both will impress in the series. The production for the Disney+ Beauty and the Beast prequel series is scheduled to start this spring.
