March is shaping up to be a good month for fans of Batman and Rocket League. Batman is returning to the silver screen in his upcoming film, and Rocket League is rolling out a bundle of Batman-themed content for a limited time.
Starting March 2, Rocket League players can purchase the Batman Bundle in-game for 1100 credits. Today’s press release provides a full list of everything included in the Batman Bundle:
“Licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on behalf of DC, The Batman Bundle will feature the Batmobile (2022), Batmobile (2022) Engine Audio, Batmobile (2022) Wheels, Dark Knight Matte Paint Finish, Batmobile (2022) Boost, Batmobile (2022) Trail, a Reel Life Decal, and The Batman Goal Explosion.”
This won’t be the first time Batman has crossed paths with Rocket League. The Batmobile was featured as DLC in 2016 as part of a promotion for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and again in 2018 as part of the DC Super Heroes DLC. The Batmobile was also in Rocket League last year. According to today’s press release:
“The Batmobile (2022) is the newest Batmobile to be featured in Rocket League. The Batmobile (1989), The Dark Knight’s Tumbler, and Batmobile (2016) were previously available in last year’s annual Haunted Hallows event.”
Batman’s famous car isn’t the only DC content coming to Rocket League next month. Players will also be able to participate in a new game mode, Gotham City Rumble, for a limited time. Gotham City Rumble is Rocket League‘s Rumble mode reskinned with Batman content. Standard power-ups are replaced with power-ups based on Gotham City’s characters, such as The Joker and Poison Ivy. The action takes place in the Gotham Night variant of the Beckwith Park Arena.
The Rocket League Batman Bundle and Gotham City Rumble will be available in Rocket League from March 2-March 8, 2022. The content will be available on all platforms.
