She wants to be the very best; like no one ever was. Life just got a little bit more powerful for UFC and Pokemon fans alike. The former Pokemon fan and current UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion, Ronda Rousey, dressed up as a Pikachu. Ronda put on a Pikachu costume as part of her guest hosting spot on ESPN’s show, SportsCenter.
The video shows Ronda training at the gym, but in full Pokemon attire. The Olympic medal winner throws the type of combination that would leave Ash Ketchum proud. It would send Team Rocket blasting off at the speed of light. There is something heartwarming about seeing the ever-famous Pikachu throw a solid right-jab followed by a lightning fast left-hook. Sorry UFC fans, this Pikachu may require more power points before you see her infamous armbar. Be sure to watch the video of Ronda Rousey’s costumed training session below.
