Roslyn Ruff, star of the hit CBS series Blue Bloods, has officially been announced as the newest cast member of Avalon, an upcoming ABC drama series following the life of a small-town sheriff in a big-time tourist destination. Ruff will join lead Avalon actress Neve Campbell and recent cast addition Steven Pasquale on the show.
Avalon will feature Neve Campbell as Detective Nicole “Nic” Searcy in the city of Avalon, on Catalina Island in California. The small island town receives over a million tourists per year, and every time the ferries arrive, Nicole’s job gets all the more complicated – when she’s pulled into a “career-defining mystery,” everything the detective knows about herself and her island will be put to the test. Steven Pasquale will star opposite Campbell as LA County Detective William Claywood.
