Rust has today launched its 1.31 update over on the console editions of the game, so here’s the full list of changes and fixes with this patch. Today’s update is quite small and unexciting but is a great update for the game nonetheless. With a set of fixes dedicated to both textures on the Oil Rig bugging out and crashes that many players are experiencing, you can expect the game to at least feel a bit smoother if you boot it back up today. Just don’t go in expecting anything more and you should be just fine. Without further adieu, here’s everything new with Rust Console Edition in its 1.31 update!
Rust Console Edition Update 1.31 Patch Notes
-
Fixed a crash when moving items up the crafting queue
-
Fixed a crash that could occur when accessing the Locker while offline
-
Fixed a crash when banned players try to join a friend on a server
-
Fixed Heavy Scientists getting stuck above the Oil Rig helipad after the Chinook drops them off
-
Fixed players being able to shoot through trees with 5.56 rifle ammo (if this is intentional, we will revert it in a future update).
-
Fixed an issue that could cause the attack helicopter to disappear when in combat
-
Fixed respawned trees sometimes getting harvested in one hit
-
Texture updates for the Oil Rig monuments
And as you can see, there isn’t a whole lot to talk about here. Beyond textures on the Oil Rig being fixed and crash fixes, there are a couple of other fixes in the pathing of Heavy Scientists and trees being harvested in one hit after respawning. Attack helicopters should also work as intended now, which is good to see. But beyond that, there isn’t much help. Let’s hope the next update is just a little more exciting.
Rust Console Edition is available on, you guessed it, console platforms. For more information regarding this update, check out the official website.
