American actor Ryan Phillippe and co-star Tom Pelphrey, a CBS actor, feature in the first trailer for a true crime movie titled American Murderer. Pelphrey starred as Jason Derek Brown, who’s a fugitive currently on the FBI Most Wanted List and still at large. Phillippe is after the prime suspect, Brown. In the action-packed thriller, one of Phillippe’s special agents, Lance Leising, tries to apprehend the suspect.
According to the official synopsis, Brown is a deadly individual who’s constantly plotting his crimes. But it gets deadlier when he starts to run out of funds. Brown brings out his A-game in such situations, leaving the special agent trying to track him down.
The American Murderer trailer featuring Ryan Phillippe and Tom Pelphrey is not the regular crime-themed movie as it has more to unveil. The deadly game between the Brown and the agent makes it more interesting as it’s uneasy to track him.

Ryan Phillippe and Tom Pelphrey Star in ‘American Murderer’ Trailer
The opening scene of the American Murderer trailer features Ryan Phillippe, Ozark star, debriefing his team about the prime suspect, Tom Pelphrey, Brown. In the same scene, Phillippe continued as he said that it’s difficult to ascertain where Brown will be headed. But he should be traced by the kind of trail he leaves pretty soon, Phillippe added.
Being a dedicated agent, Phillippe is determined to apprehend Brown as another scene includes him interviewing the suspect’s family. Based on a true story, James Derek Brown is wanted for murder and armed robbery in Phoenix, Arizona. He allegedly shot an armored car guard, who died instantly. It happened outside a movie theatre where he fled with the money.
The trailer for the American Murderer movie left fans wondering how the hunt will end for Ryan Phillippe and Tom Pelphrey. The film also features other top acts in the industry, including Idina Menzel, Jacki Weaver, Paul Schneider, Shantel VanSanten, and Moises Arias.
American Murderer will be in theatres on October 21, then it’ll be digitally available a week later.
