With season 5 of Stranger Things getting closer and closer, many of us know, as well as the star actors, that it is about to come to an end, and Sadie Sink is definitely not looking forward to leaving and has shared that leaving it “will be awful.” Actor, Sadie Sink is only twenty years old and got her debut role as Max Mayfield in Stranger Things season 2. Over the past six years, her and many of her co-stars have matured on the show and grown up beside one another. Stranger Things is set to end after season 5 which will be the final season of the series. This is leaving not only fans emotional but also the stars.
Stranger Things Season 5 Will Be Scary, Emotional, and Sad
Sadie Sink made an appearance on the Today show and she talked about how she grew up on the set of this Netflix series and how it would feel to leave it all behind. She expressed about the last season will be emotional, awful, horrible, scary, and sad, but that it will also be exciting to move onto a new chapter. Here’s what she said:
“We know that it’s happening and that it’s the last season, so it’s going to be emotional I’m sure. Spoiler-free, just with the way my character ended in Season 4, I have no idea what is going to happen. But I’ll be there. It’s going to be awful. It’s going to be horrible. These kids, this entire cast and crew, it’s family. People say that all the time, but I genuinely mean it. And to think that we have to say goodbye to that security and knowing that we’re going to be seeing each other for another season? It’s scary and sad, but I think it’s exciting to kind of move on to the next chapter, I guess.”
Recently after season 5 was announced, the Duffer brothers shared that their pitch for the final season had brought Netflix executives to tears. Fans and the co-star definitely are preparing for an emotional final season after that news. Not to mention that season 4 already broke the hearts of many fans after the death of Eddie Munson who was many fans’ favorite character after he was introduced…and that Venca almost killed Max, who was in a coma the last time we saw her. It will be emotional and difficult to say goodbye to this series and the characters, but we don’t completely know what might be in store for the series after it ends.
