Victoria Pedretti has joined the cast of the Hulu missing-girl drama series Saint X. The eight-episode series is based on the novel of the same name by Alexis Schaitkin. The series encompasses multiple timelines and explores how a relaxing Caribbean vacation turns into a nightmare. Schaitkin’s novel acknowledges white privilege and the media’s fixation on missing young women. Victoria Pedretti will play Emily, whose seemingly perfect life begins to fade. ABC Signature is producing the Hulu missing-girl drama series; Saint X. Leila Gerstein is adapting the screenplay from Schaitkin’s novel. Alexis Schaitkin will be an executive producer for the project along with Dee Rees, Stephen Williams, David Levine, Zack Hayden of Anonymous Content, Audrey Graham, Adel “Future” Nur, Jason Shrier of DreamCrew Entertainment, and Steve Pearlman. Dee Rees will be a director in addition to being an executive producer.
