Salma Hayek has delighted Instagram with rare footage of her daughter Valentina as she marks her only child turning 16 years old. The Hollywood actress, 57, is known for keeping Valentina on the DL, however, she has been showing up to more red-carpet events with her of late. In an Instagram video posted ahead of the weekend, Salma Hayek shared throwback footage of daughter Valentina as she marked her special day. The Eternals star shares her daughter with billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault. The couple has been married since 2009.
Salma Hayek Marks Daughter’s 16th On Instagram
Salma’s video was a montage of sweet moments throughout Valentina’s childhood.
The MCU star shared moments of Valentina as a toddler, including a trip to Disneyland, plus one of her little one singing along to the Barney Theme Song. Valentina and Salma had made headlines earlier this year for attending the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscars.
Hayek Gushes Over Daughter In Birthday Video
In a loving caption for her daughter, Salma Hayek told her Instagram fans:
“Today my baby turns 16 and my heart is bursting with love, pride and gratitude for the day you were born.”
Hayek added: “Keep shining your beautiful light shamelessly my lovely girl, even if it blinds the fools.” Of her beautiful child, the Frida star continued: “For those of us fortunate enough to have you in our lives, thank you for making us stronger with your courage. For filling our lives with laughter and joy with your wicked wit. For challenging us to grow with your depth. And for inspiring us with your soulfulness every day. Happy sweet 16th Valentina; may this be the sweetest year yet!”
