Rare will release a documentary to celebrate Sea of Thieves 5th anniversary on March 20, 2023. From the revelation, the developers have titled the documentary ”Voyage of a lifetime,” focusing on telling the story of the development of the game. At the same time, the team has announced that the celebrations will feature a rich Sea of Thieves celebration holiday with numerous gifts to all fans.

During a live stream on Youtube today, Rare announced their bounty plan for the upcoming celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary. The team also released a trailer showcasing some of the content players should expect with the documentary’s release.
Additionally, Rare shared a list of perks the Sea of Thieves will have in this celebration. Among the anniversary plans include; bonuses, supersized in-game events, and 50m Ancient Coins giveaways to players who participate in the game during the event.
