With school back, you get ready to see crazy stuff happening. I would expect some fights between students or even between teachers. Fights between parents are also possible, but you would think that the worst thing that could happen is just some punching and yelling. It turns out there are even more terrifying things that could take place. A back-to-school event in North Carolina ended terribly as people there couldn’t control their emotions. You see an all-Black crowd in the video shared, and it appears that tension is rising. You can hear some argument happening, but you don’t assume that it will suddenly escalate.
Despite there being a lot of children due to the nature of the event, the grown-ups there didn’t seem to care that much. The North Carolina argument appeared to involve a man, and you can see some women arguing with him, too. Suddenly, a fight breaks out, and there’s some pushing. The next thing that leaves you shocked is gun sounds. Someone, for some reason, decided to bring a gun to a school event that has a lot of kids. As soon as the gun is fired once, everyone is running, even the one filming the whole thing. With the second shot, the screams increased. You can even hear some kids crying. It’s not clear whether someone was injured or not. However, it seemed like the gun was fired into the air. Hopefully, nothing more than that happened.
People Reacting to the Back-to-School North Carolina Fight
Of course, people found it insane that someone actually brought a gun to the North Carolina event. Why would anyone think of doing that? The fact that there were children there made someone write in disbelief, “IN FRONT OF KIDS????” Someone then replied and pointed out the sad reality of these situations. “Of course, and the kids see this as a valid means of escalation in an argument and the cycle continues. I’s awful,” they added. Another person shared the same opinion as they wrote, “And the unfortunate thing about that is the cycle could very well repeat.” One person also found it sad that people can’t simply enjoy an event without causing trouble. “This is why we can’t have nice things. There will always, always be people to ruin something good,” they said.
Some people were quite upset by the North Carolina fight. After all, it’s not a sight you would want to see. “Buch of f**king adults that can’t act like f**king adults around children. Who the f**k brings a gun to an elementary school function?” one person questioned. Another person asked, “why we got guns at a back to school event?” This was when someone pointed out another sad reality by saying, “??? We got more guns at the actual school.” Unfortunately, they have got a point. Since the event was supposed to help out all these Black parents, one Redditor also asked, “Doesn’t have money for school supplies but has money for a gun and ammo?” Let’s just hope that the kids who were there would be able to forget about this traumatizing situation.
