Matt Bomer will play Hawkins Fuller, a charming political operative, who falls in love with the doe-eyed Tim Laughlin. Unfortunately, their romance starts just as Sen. Joseph McCarthy and his chief counsel, Roy Cohn, declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants” in the capital. Matt Bomer, Ron Nyswaner, and Robbie Rogers will executive produce the project. Fremantle and Showtime will co-produce the series Fellow Travelers.
