While players will be able to get an ending by simply fighting and killing their way through Sifu, there is a true ending that requires players to take an extra playthrough of the game and a different approach to the boss fights found throughout the game to unlock. This guide will explain how to get the true ending in Sifu.
How to Get the True Ending In Sifu
To get the true ending, you must first go through the game a beat it as normal since you can’t get the true ending the first time through. Once you do this, you will need to play through the game again and get the five Talismans in the game from the game’s five bosses. These Talismans are given to the player when they spare the boss rather than killing them. There is a full guide on The Nerd Stash on how to spare the bosses in Sifu linked here, though the essential bits are that you need to ensure that you don’t kill the boss when in their second phase. Once you break their stance two times, you will be given a “Spare” prompt. Doing this will reward you with the Talisman tied to that character. Fajar gives you the Wood Talisman. Sparing Sean gets you the Fire Talisman. Sparing Kuroki will get you the Water Talisman. Finally, to get the Metal Talisman, you need to spare Jinfeng.

Once you have collected the first four talismans, you need to go to The Sanctuary and face the final boss, Yang. Here, you will need to go through the same process as usual, sparing him in the second phase, but the difference is that this does not end the fight. After selecting the prompt, you will start a cutscene which will bring you to a third phase. Yang will have no Health Bar and just a Structure Bar, so you can wail on him without worrying about killing him. Beating him will get you the Earth Talisman. This will lead you to the true ending of Sifu and will allow you to unlock the “Legendary Talismans of Wuxing” Trophy.
Sifu is now available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store.
