Sifu, everyone’s favorite Bruce Lee movie turned into a game, has unveiled its upcoming content roadmap for the remainder of 2022, with the first update set to debut on May 3! The roadmap was revealed on the game’s official Twitter account which you can find below.
Check out our free content update roadmap for #Sifu! At this stage, four major updates are planned – the first one will be available next Tuesday, May 3rd, along with our physical edition! 🔥🔥 #SifuGame pic.twitter.com/8UBEWwJKS4

Kicking things off with that imminent update, martial artists can expect difficulty options, advanced training, and outfit selection to make a debut! The difficulty options take on the form of Student, Disciple, and Master difficulties, presumably corresponding to Easy, Medium, and Hard. The advanced training as well, while not given many details, likely should help you keep trained up and push through the various locations Sifu offers. And of course, outfit selection is always nice. One Twitter user even noticed that the Deluxe Edition outfit will finally be available, which should be a nice bonus.
Looking beyond the Spring (May 3) update on the Sifu content roadmap though, Summer looks to bring advanced scoring and the intriguing gameplay modifiers addition. These modifiers will include (but are not limited to) no pendant, one health point, stronger enemies, golden staff, all skills unlocked, and more! Moving towards the Fall, you can expect not just new modifiers and outfits, but also a brand new replay editor to splice together some of your favorite moments while playing. And finally, in the Winter, Sifu players can expect new modifiers, new outfits, and the brand new Arenas game mode. We don’t know much about that final addition, though it can be assured we’ll learn far more later this year.
All in all, a great content roadmap for Sifu players. While not having a lot in the way of new content, the additives should be nice for those looking to play or replay this brawling adventure. What are you most excited about? Anything you hope to see added maybe as a side addition or beyond? Let me know!
