There has been so much news in the Canadian casino market that if you are feeling lucky like Snapdragon it might be time for you to make your move. Snapdragon is betting on two particular elements of putting their 835 chips into their laptops to pay off.
The first area is battery life, Snapdragon clearly knows how frustrating it is to see your laptop die while you need it or having to carry around a massive brick to ensure you don’t lose power at the most inconvenient time. That is why they are promising their processor will have excellent power consumption efficiency to ensure that you can have up to twenty hours of battery life. No, you didn’t read that wrong, they are saying you will get twenty hours of battery life on your laptop. Even for the heaviest user that is at least a day and a half without having to plug it in and for most users they will get days without having to charge.
The other interesting thing about having an 835 in a computer is the fact that it will allow always-on 4G LTE as it has it built into the processor. For people who need to use their computers a lot but don’t always have Wifi or don’t want to use an annoying dongle, this is a feature that will be amazing. You will be able to use the internet wherever you have phone signal but of course, you will have to pay for the privilege. To ensure you have a 4G connection you will need a sim card and a data plan but for business users having a connection wherever you go might well be worth the extra spend.
The first two laptops that will come with this new chip are the ASUS nova GO which is a classic convertible that you can fold and have in tablet, regular or tent mode; and the HP Envy x2 which is a great looking 2in1 that will aim to challenge the Microsoft Surface. They aim to launch in early 2018 so keep an eye out!
