The RPG South Park: Fractured But Whole will be getting its first story-based DLC in a couple of weeks. The DLC will feature a new campaign. The content will be titled From Dusk Till Casa Bonita. It has also been revealed that the title will have a new playable character class. The Netherborn were in the story of the main game although playing as a member was not an option. Gamers can choose to be one of the Netherborn if they wish in the DLC.
The Netherborn will join the previous ten classes that gamers could choose from. Some of those were true to the South Park formula of adding a touch of absurdity such as Psychic, Brutalist and Plantmancer. Since players can dual wield classes, gamers can keep a character class they were previously fond of in the Fractured But Whole main campaign while taking the new options for a spin. The Netherborn will also have four new ability powers to harness.
The Fractured But Whole From Dusk Till Casa Bonita releases March 20, 2018 and will be available on PS4, Xbox, and PC. It will retail for $11.99. The name of the DLC is a reference to Cartman’s favorite restaurant Casa Bonita. The story features the gang looking to help Mysterion’s sister. She got wound up with the Vamp Kids in South Park and the action takes the narrative to the wacky Mexican restaurant.
The Nerd Stash gave South Park: The Fractured But Whole four out of five stars. The review cited, “South Park: The Fractured But Whole is more of a game than Stick of Truth ever was. While it sacrifices certain aspects from the original, it gains back far more in political commentary, customization, and technical advancement. Stick of Truth made me laugh but never made me think. The Fractured But Whole manages to do both and do them very well.”
