South Park: The Fractured But Whole is getting another substantial DLC in the form of Bring the Crunch. Ubisoft announced that the new DLC pack will launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch on July 31st. This is the second DLC included in the Season Pass, following up the stellar From Dusk Till Casa Bonita released earlier this year.
Bring the Crunch will give players access to a new story campaign alongside a new superhero class to mess around with. The new area takes place in Lake Tardicaca summer camp where Coon & Friends have to solve the mystery of what happened to the missing camp counselors.
The “Final Girl” class will allow players new ways to handle the new foes introduced in the DLC. She has a whole set of new powers and abilities for players experiment with. The “Final Girl” class is unlocked with the DLC but will carry over into the base game after completion of the story.
An official statement from Ubisoft describes the DLC as follows:
“In Bring the Crunch,” says Ubisoft, “your newest buddy, Mint-Berry Crunch, aka Bradley Biggle, aka Gok-zarah, has just arrived from his home planet of Kokujon with the tremendous power of mint and berries. Meanwhile, an idyllic summer at Lake Tardicaca turns into a nightmare when the camp counselors go missing.”
South Park: The Stick of Truth was also recently teased for a Nintendo Switch release in an Ubisoft investor meeting. The precursor to South Park: The Fractured but Whole will make its way to the Switch in September of 2018. This is the latest release in a long line games displaying Ubisofts commitment to Nintendo’s platform.
Bring the Crunch will be available for free to players who purchased the South Park Fractured but Whole Season Pass. Bring the Crunch will cost you $12 if bought as an individual package.
