Are you looking for thrills? Are you looking for fun and excitement? Then you came to the wrong place! This Speedrun Fast is dedicated to showcasing some truly terrible abominations of gaming. We’re talking three of the worst games ever to hit the market: E.T., Bubsy 3D, and the dreaded Sonic 2006. We’ll go in that order, as the runs get progressively longer from one to the next. Let the torture commence.
This one’s historically infamous as one of the worst games ever. In E.T., you have to collect the phone pieces, then find some other thing, do a thing, go into the forest and find the ship, do another thing, then go to a place and wait. Oh, and that wonderful music? Not part of the actual game. The runner put that on out of the goodness of his heart.
Bubsy 3D initially received positive review scores upon its release, but that was back when people didn’t know any better. Make no mistake, this game fully deserves a spot among the worst games ever developed, and you’ll understand why when you watch the run. Xindictive must be a masochist, as dedicated as he is to taking back the world record for this one. 100% in Bubsy 3D depends on getting all the rockets and achieving the good ending.
Now, prepare to suffer like you cannot imagine…
Yes, that’s right. I told you we’d be doing Sonic 06. What I didn’t say was that it would be all character stories. There’s a mission select glitch that lets you beat the game quicker, but it prevents you from accessing the final story and so can’t be used in this category. Therefore, you must sit through the whole thing. Mua ha ha!
That concludes part one of Speedrun Fast’s Worst Games Ever feature. Hope you’re still alive, because next time, things are going to get much much worse. What could possibly be worse than these travesties, you ask? I’m not telling… oh, fine, here’s a hint: CDs, 1991. If you want to see some great games to help you recover, here’s the Golden Sun series from last time.
