The Splatoon North America and Splatoon Japan Twitter accounts have dropped a new Squid Sister song for Splatoon 3, performed by the Squid Sisters, titled Tomorrow’s Nostalgia Today. (Or Brandnew Hometown) Splatoon 3 continuously rolls out new content for fans to enjoy, especially now with new DLC incoming. (Or inkoming, as they say.) The new song features visuals from the recently released Inkopolis Square, as well as the models Callie and Marie as they appear in Splatoon 3‘s latest DLC. This is the first time they’ve appeared in any capacity outside of the main story mode. They’re in their original outfits from the first game, appearing on the high-rise stages they use during the Splatfest.
The Squid Sisters will debut a new song called 'Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today' during the second half of the upcoming #Splatfest on 3/31. Check out this sneak peek!

Splatoon 3 has slowly garnered content over the last eight months, giving players new clothing items, DLC, emotes, and more in waves. Quite recently, the game developers released the first Wave of DLC after the first two seasons of the catalog. This update gave players the ability to go into Inkopolis for the first time since the first Splatoon game and added Callie and Marie as an option during Splatfests. Now, if you have the first wave of DLC for your copy of Splatoon 3, you can have the choice between vibing in Splatsville during the next Splatfest or going to Inkopolis for a super fresh change.
New Squid Sister Song Drops Just in Time for the Splatfest
This upcoming Splatfest, Lockness Monster vs Aliens vs Bigfoot, will be the first Splatfest to feature the new Inkopolis Square. The Splatfests in Splatoon 3 are divided into three neat sections: the preview, the main event, and the Tri-Color Turf Wars. For the second part of the Splatfest, you can listen to Tomorrow’s Nostalgia Today in Inkopolis Square. There the Squid Sisters will perform the same dance featured in the reveal, with improved model designs and a whole new beat to match. The colors for their outfits will even change, depending on the kind of Splatfest occurring at the time. Which team do you think they will each be on? And which team will you choose?
Splatoon 3 and the Wave 1 DLC are both available now for Nintendo Switch.
