The comedy-horror series Shining Vale has set a March 6 premiere date on Starz. The series comes from the mind of Trial & Error co-creator Jeff Astrof and Divorce creator Sharon Horgan. Lionsgate and Warner Bros. Television co-produced it. Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, Astrof’s Other Shoe Productions as well as Horgan and Clelia Mountford’s Merman have a hand in production as well. Shining Vale is about a family that moves from the city to a small town into a home with a terrible history. Courtney Cox, Greg Kinnear, and Mira Sorvino will be in the family comedy-horror.
Stars Greg Kinnear and Courtney Cox Are No Strangers to Comedy or Horror

The comedy-horror series “Shining Vale” on Starz will include Greg Kinnear (left), Courtney Cox (middle), and Mira Sorvino (right) in its cast.
Courtney Cox has had roles in comedy and horror. She gets her comedy skills from her well-known role as Monica Geller on Friends. Greg Kinnear has appeared in The Stand, the post-apocalyptic fantasy series based on Stephen King’s book of the same name. He also was the not-so-nice guy in the supernatural thriller The Gift. Kinnear has been in numerous romantic comedies from Someone Like You to Nurse Betty. Mira Sorvino appeared in the science fiction horror Mimic. Sorvino is known for her role in the comedy Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, opposite Friends alum Lisa Kudrow.
Courtney Cox plays Patricia “Pat” Phelps in Shining Vale; she thinks there’s something funky going on with the house. Courtney Cox and Greg Kinnear play a married couple in the comedy-horror series. Her character Pat cheated on her husband and moving to the small town is a last resort to saving their marriage. So far little is known about how Sorvino will come into play for the series. They all know how to play many parts on the acting spectrum. Critics will look forward to how the story plays out.
Shining Vale will premiere on Sunday, March 6 at 10 PM on all Starz platforms in the United States and Canada. It will air internationally on StarzPlay across Europe, Latin America, and Japan.
