The latest Street Fighter 6 gameplay footage was recently shared online by Capcom, providing a closer look at two of the new characters set to join the game, Lily and Zangief. The footage, which was posted on Twitter, showcases Lily, one of the brand-new characters coming to the game, and highlights her ability to store multiple Windclad Stocks with Condor Wind to power up a number of other special moves.

Being the daughter of the fan-favorite T. Hawk, Lily carries over a few of her father’s special moves into Street Fighter 6. And oddly enough, her playstyle is also similar, even though she’s half his size.
The videos also feature footage of Zangief, one of the mainstay characters in the series, and showcase an old move from the Alpha days, as well as the new Overdrive Lariat coming to Street Fighter 6. These features offer a glimpse of the development team’s efforts to modernize returning characters in compelling ways. Zangief’s level 1 super seems to be an anti-air, something that is already striking fear into the hearts of Street Fighter players all over the world. His level 2 is somewhat akin to his V-Trigger from Street Fighter V but has two different enders depending on what the player wants to do afterward.
Zangief wants to keep opponents so close they can smell his muscles. 💪
