As you work your way through Subnautica: Below Zero you will eventually meet Marguerit, a rough and tumble lady who has survived quite a lot on Planet 4546B. Shortly after your introduction to her, she disappears and you are tasked with finding her. This can be a bit of a challenge, but even after you find her the first time she is off again and that will probably leave you wondering – what is the location of Marguerit’s greenhouse base in Subnautica: Below Zero? Well don’t worry, we have instructions on getting to both her original seabase as well as her landlocked greenhouse base.
The Location of Marguerit’s First Base
Keep in mind that you won’t be tasked with finding Marguerit’s greenhouse until you have first found her seabase, talked with her and disabled the communications tower on Delta Island per her instructions. If you’re having trouble finding this first base, even with the provided beacon, no fear, I did as well. Her first base is located in a cave accessible via the Lilypad Islands biome. As you arrive at the ‘last known location’ beacon you will notice nothing of note, but if you continue southeast, to the left of the large vertical lily pad at this location you will see a horizontal lily pad further down on the seafloor. If you follow the cavern beneath this horizontal lily pad you will arrive at Marguerit’s seabase in no time.
The Location of Marguerit’s Greenhouse Base
Finding the location of Marguerit’s greenhouse base is definitely one of those times where you’ll wish that you were given more beacons in Subnautica: Below Zero. The game does point to her location, but only if you’re listening fairly carefully to dialogue from Marguerit following your disabling of the communications tower on Delta Island. If you check the dialogue section of your PDA you will see that she mentions being “a kilometer east of your current location”.
If you head due east from Delta Island you will come across some floating glaciers that are actually big enough to scale and explore. At around 1000 meters you will find a glacier that contains an Architect Artifact, but this isn’t actually the glacier where Marguerit’s greenhouse is. Continue heading east beyond this about another 100-150 meters and you will come across a separate glacier that is the home of Marguerit’s land-based second home. Enter and you will be met with dialogue that will bring you even closer to finding your sister.
