TV’s most fun-to-hate family will return to HBO Max, and the ball is now rolling as Succession season 4 has begun production. Filming is taking place in New York City, which has been the centerpiece for most of the series.
Last season ended with plenty of turns that consisted of high drama, betrayal, and pictures you probably would not want to be sent to your father. For Succession, season 4 will contend with a lot as the Roy siblings have finally made a stance against their father. Knowing how the show takes its twists and how every character has ulterior motivations, about anything can happen within this company and family dynamics. This aftermath will consist of 10 episodes.
HBO Continues Succession with Season 4 after Great Success
While it is not the most-viewed series on the platform, enough success and acclaim have let the drama be renewed continuously. With over 20 Emmy nominations and nine wins, among other awards, Succession has proven itself for season 4. The series stars Brian Cox, Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin, Alan Ruck, Matthew Macfadyen, and Nicholas Braun. The main supporting cast outside the Roy family stars J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, and Jeannie Berlin.
An end will have to come at some point. Cox said “that the writers have an end game in sight. It’s just when they will play that end game.” While Succession aims for season 4, he guesses that the show will likely not go further than season 5 if this next season is not the end. From the last season, it is likely the seeds have been planted for a finale.
Jesse Armstrong created the series. He serves as the showrunner and an executive producer with Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy, and Will Ferrell.
No date is known when we will see Succession season 4. The rest of the seasons are available on HBO Max.
