Yesterday’s Dead by Daylight 7th Anniversary Stream was great, with plenty of news coming for its 4v1 title, yet, that wasn’t all. While many are still happy with the content coming to this game, others who like this game’s setting but not the gameplay have been craving for something else. Thankfully, Behaviour Interactive has announced that a new game set in Dead by Daylight’s universe is in the works and being helmed by none other than Supermassive Games. If you don’t know who this studio is, it is responsible for games like Until Dawn and The Quarry.
Supermassive Games Is Working on a Narrative-Driven Dead by Daylight Game

This news is huge as Supermassive Games has recently been on a role. While The Quarry wasn’t as great as Until Dawn, as many fans claim, it was still a fantastic title that was even put on PS Plus. Now, Dead by Daylight is about to get the narrative-driven title treatment at the hands of Supermassive Games. Besides that, we might get an announcement this year. That’s right; we won’t have to wait too long to see what the studios are cooking up for this beloved franchise about to expand.

The studio is bringing many things to their famous game, with a new chapter coming soon about sci-fi horror. So, if you thought this was the end for Dead by Daylight, that’s not the case. This game and its universe are growing larger by the day. 2023 could be one of the biggest years for the franchise, and we’re happy to see it expanding to other genres. As always, we hope for the best, and that whatever game they launch is as successful as the one we play now.
