Later this month the CW will be kicking off Supernatural‘s 14th season (which is a crazy number, by the way), on October 11 at 8:00 pm. TNT is also joining in on the Supernatural fun by letting fans relive some of the series’ most exciting and iconic episodes.
The marathon will take place on October 31 and, according to TNT’s press release, “This Halloween, TNT is bringing fans spooks, chills, and thrills with an all-day Supernatural marathon, starting at 8 a.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET, spanning four seasons of the most terrifying episodes from the fan-favorite series. From hauntings to ghosts, zombies and even Bloody Mary, TNT is your destination for getting into the Halloween spirit.”
Here is the Supernatural schedule for Halloween day (all episode synopses are taken from IMDb):
8 a.m. ET – Season 4, Episode 7 – “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester”
Investigating two mysterious deaths in a small town, Sam and Dean discover a witch is sacrificing people to summon an ancient, powerful, and extremely dangerous demon.
9 a.m. ET – Season 4, Episode 5 – “Monster Movie”
It’s Halloween time and the Winchesters face-off against a shapeshifter with a penchant for impersonating classic movie monsters like Dracula, the Wolfman, and the Mummy.
10 a.m. ET – Season 2, Episode 18 – “Hollywood Babylon”
The Winchesters go undercover as PAs on a haunted movie set after getting wind of reports of tag teaming ghosts. The brothers deal with an asinine studio executive out to make cheap marketing stunts (guest star Gary Cole), a disenfranchised screenwriter seeking revenge for unnecessary revisions to a formally great script, and Dean’s fan-boyish feelings for the leading lady.
11 a.m. ET – Season 3, Episode 13 – “Ghostfacers”
Sam and Dean inexplicably encounter the Hell Hounds while investigating a case that John failed to crack years earlier and become fixtures in their pilot for a reality show called Ghostfacers.
12 p.m. ET – Season 1, Episode 1 – “Pilot”
Sam and Dean Winchester were trained by their father to hunt the creatures of the supernatural. Now, their father has mysteriously disappeared while hunting the demon that killed their mother, 22 years ago.
1 p.m. ET – Season 2, Episode 4 – “Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things”
Dean and Sam assist Neil Levine, a heartbroken college kid who consoles his long-time crush after her breakup and then loses her in a car accident. Determined to have his feelings returned, Neil uses necromancy to bring her back from the dead. His efforts backfire when she returns as an angry and vengeful Zombie, forcing the brothers to stop her after she kills her boyfriend Matt and the girl he cheated on her with.
2 p.m. ET – Season 1, Episode 19 – “Provenance”
When two sets of owners of the same painting are brutally murdered, Sam and Dean investigate with the help of an auction house owner’s daughter, all while Dean shamelessly tries to pair her with his little brother.
3 p.m. ET – Season 2, Episode 11 – “Playthings”
Sam and Dean visit the Pierpont Inn, a creepy old mansion turned failing hotel. They meet the owner, Susan, and her daughter Tyler, who are packing to move after they sell the hotel. Tyler is playing with a little girl named Maggie. The brothers notice strange items around the hotel, including an urn with a familiar pattern, dolls with their heads backward and Susan’s mother, who looks vacant and beyond terrified. When Susan finds them in her mother’s room trying to talk to her, she throws them out and threatens to call the cops.
4 p.m. ET – Season 1, Episode 15 – “The Benders”
After following a history of disappearances in Hibbing, Minnesota, Sam finds himself locked in a cage and Dean must team up with a by the book sheriff to find him……before the hunt begins.
5 p.m. ET – Season 3, Episode 2 – “The Kids Are Alright”
A strange death reported in the newspaper prompts Dean and Sam to find Lisa Braeden, a woman Dean had a weekend fling with about 8.75 years ago, only to find she has a son turning 8. While investigating the death in the paper along with several other mysterious recent deaths, Sam and Dean find they are chasing a Changeling, who is replacing children with its offspring. The mysterious blond woman is back, giving Sam a cryptic message that he should look into his mother’s friends.
6 p.m. ET – Season 4, Episode 11 – “Family Remains”
The Winchesters try to stop a family from moving into a haunted house.
7 p.m. ET – Season 1, Episode 5 – “Bloody Mary”
A game of Bloody Mary unleashes a ghost who lives in mirrors and kills by gouging out the eyes of her prey, Sam and Dean must find a way to stop her before she claims another victim.
