Swarm VR is not just another arcade shooter. Developed by Greensky Games, the title brings its own magic to the genre. It comes complete with cel-shaded graphics with a retro touch. Experiencing a high-flying adventure that only virtual reality is able to deliver.
Swarm VR Features
As a shooter, the game may have some big shoes to fill. Fight an onslaught of insectioids in this high-flying adventure. Here are some notable features of the title:
- Spider-Man like Movement – zip through each level in style. No enemy is out of your reach. Use your grapple to zip right to enemies and unload all your bullets.
- Strategy-focused Gameplay – this is not a normal run and gun arcade shooter. These enemies can be cunning. And they may deliver attacks when you least expect it. So you’ll have to jump in with strategy in mind.
- Global Leaderboard – check out scores by other Swarm VR players. Challenge the scores of others and see if you can best them. Will you be able to maintain your position in the top spot? Only repeated practice will secure you the top spot.
It will take a skilled shooter to make it through the levels. While the levels are only about 10 to 20 minutes long, there will likely be no shortage of fun. The game is spread across 21 levels with 5 dynamics zones. So you’ll be sure to have your hands full with hordes of enemies. And the chaos only ends when you say it does.
Swarm VR will be coming to the Oculus Quest and Rift in Spring. You can expect the game to hit Steam sometime during the Summer. If you’d like to stay up-to-date on all things game-related, check out the game’s official site here.
