The Tales of series is celebrating its 25th anniversary together with Another Eden in this crossover event. Starting on December 17, 2020, iconic and beloved characters from the Tales of series are permanently joining Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space cast. Expect characters from Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Phantasia, Tales of Xillia, and Tales of Bersia. Of course, Cress Albane, Yuri Lowell, Milla Maxwell, and Velvet Crowe are present in the game.
The developer of Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space, WFS, also announced that the collaboration would have a simultaneous release in both the Japanese and global versions of the game. This means people from the west will no longer need to wait for the Tales Of series’s four main characters. The best part is, they are here to stay. This is not a time-limited event, so the crossover content is available anytime. In order to get the four characters, you must clear the Symphony “Tails of Time and the Brave Four: Tales of Chronographia” first. After completing them, time to get busy and make them stronger. You can upgrade them to their 5-star classes by playing extra content called the “Trial of Spirits”.
Players and fans of other Tales of series characters need not worry because aside from the initial four, they will also add-in Mint, Arche, Repede, Rowen, and Maglou as playable characters in this crossover. The most exciting announcement of this crossover is the new mechanics they will incorporate in the game. These are features familiar to Tales of fans such as skits, cooking, and Mystic Artes. Speaking of skits, playable characters can go through conversations between Another Eden and Tales of.
The Tales of series released its first game, Tales of Phantasia for the Super Famicon, on December 15, 1995. The series is considered the third biggest RPG series in Japan behind Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is by Wright Flyer Studios (WFS). It’s a free-to-play role-playing video game on iOS and Android. It was initially released in Japan on April 12, 2017, and people from North America got a hold of it almost two years later, on January 28, 2019.
