As revealed at the DC 2021 Fandome event, Teen Titans Go will be airing a crossover special with DC Superhero Girls. The special event will be airing on Cartoon Network in 2022.
The upcoming Teen Titans Go crossover with DC Super Hero Girls isn’t the first time the two shows have crossed over. The Teen Titans first met the Super Hero Girls in the Teen Titans Go Season 6 episode “Superhero Feud” in 2020. The two also joined together in “Space House”, a four-episode crossover event for Season 7.
The trailer opens with the Super Hero Girls on a mission to locate another group of superheroes to team up with. However, when they find the Teen Titans, they aren’t impressed with what they see. As the group introduces themselves, the Teen Titans are also unamused with what they see, except for Starfire (who secretly wants to join the group).
What The Teen Titans Go Crossover Trailer Shows
Despite teaming up numerous times in the part, the DC Super Hero Girls don’t seem to recognize the Titans. As Wonder Woman asks “We apologize, but do we know you?”, Cyborg laughs this off, calling them “continuity snobs”. Robin seems a bit more offended at the questions, announcing that his team is the Teen Titans. Beast Boy also takes note of the fact that they have crossed over in the past. He then goes on to say “Oh, I get it. They’re good enough for our show but the moment we show up in their thing, it’s all like, What’s going on?”
With its premiere in 2013, Teen Titans Go has the original cast of Teen Titans reprising their roles respectively. The show itself pokes fun at the fact that it’s a reboot of the original and has since had several films. Currently, Teen Titans Go is in the middle of its seventh season.
