Everybody’s favorite young heroes are finally returning! After years of waiting, Warner Bros. Animation has announced that the Teen Titans (2003-2006) animated show is coming to Blu-ray. The fledgling team fought their way into the hearts of viewers during its three-year run. Soon, fans will soon be able to rewatch the classic episodes they love in Blu-ray format!
The series, based on the DC Comics title of the same name, features Robin (Dick Grayson), Raven, Beast Boy, Starfire, and Cyborg as a team dedicated to protecting the world. The young heroes fight classic villains such as Slade, Brother Blood, and Trigon. In addition, foes such as Mother Mae-Eye and the Brotherhood of Evil step up to challenge the team. The show was popular for its deep storylines and character arcs. Anime-inspired scenes were added in for comical effect. This enhanced the already quirky humor that the writers and artists brought to each episode. Who can forget when Mad Mod kidnaps the team and places them in his “school?” Or when Larry comes to meet his idol, Robin? Those episodes were among my favorites as a kid.
Teen Titans, Go!
