505 Games and Re-Logic’s popular action-adventure sandbox game, Terraria, will finally be making its way to the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop for $30 starting on December 10. The retail version will follow along sometime in early 2016, as well as a digital and retail version for the Wii U.
Players will get to reach into the world of Terraria with uniquely-tailored touch screen controls as they fashion elaborate structures, and fight off enemies with an intuitive swipe of the stylus. Explore vast fantasy worlds by soaring up to floating islands in the sky, or by excavating down to the depths of the earth. Wage war on hundreds of different enemies, ranging from Zombies to Goblins to Unicorns to Wyverns. All while using weapons and armour that you have crafted yourself. Build amazing structures and dwellings with ease, laying brick and stone with the responsive touch interface.

Terraria on the 3DS will make an ideal introduction to the game for new players to the game. Returning players should feel at home in the game world, but with a fresh new way to play. New and old players alike will, also, be able to share their adventures through Local Play with up to four players.
With over 1,300Â crafting recipes, 150 enemies, and 15 bosses to battle, there is no shortage of things to do in Terraria. Players will get to explore the world and fight hundreds of different types of enemies. 505 Games is also teasing that there may be some Nintendo-related surprises in this version of the game as well.
